Éxxita Be Circular is consolidating its position as a benchmark in circular economy in Andalusia. This is evidenced by the recent assignment of its new facilities, Circular Innovation HUB to the Strategic Projects Accelerator Unit for Andalusia. The proposal, made by the Ministry of Sustainability, Environment and Blue Economy, was approved by the Governing Council of the Andalusian Regional Government on October 10.
In this way, the center becomes the first facility in Andalusia focused on technological innovation in the circular economy and will enjoy the support of the Administration throughout the process of development and legal proceedings. The Minister himself, Ramón Fernández-Pacheco, visited the company's new center a few days earlier together with his team, including the Deputy Minister, Sergio Arjona, and the General Director of Environmental Quality and Climate Change, María López Sanchís. During the visit they were able to see firsthand how Éxxita approaches the recovery of different types of devices according to the principles of circularity of products and components, as well as its impact on reducing the carbon footprint of the sector.
According to Fernández Pacheco after the visit, "the Board is always on the side of companies that are committed to the circular economy and generate green jobs". The Minister also highlighted that Éxxita "is an example to be followed for its great commitment to developing a circular and sustainable economy model in all its processes".
"For Éxxita Be Circular it is a great support to our Circular Innovation HUB project to have the support of the Junta de Andalucía for its development. We are convinced that it will be a center that has a lot to say in innovation in circular economy and will become a reference not only for Andalusia, but also throughout the country," said Alejandro Costa, CEO and founder of the company.
In this way, Circular Innovation HUB drives innovation in circular economy in Andalusia and takes a further step to lead innovation in circular economy, recovery of raw materials and components.
