Éxxita Be Circular becomes the Sustainability Supplier of Madrid Futuro
A sustainable and circular response from the technology sector is the great bet of Éxxita Be Circular in the market. Thus, Madrid Futuro, a non-profit organization with more than 100 partners and collaborators, including the country's leading companies, and sponsored by the Madrid City Council, has relied on Éxxita for its new project to reduce the digital divide in the city.
Éxxita Be Circular will be in charge, through its innovative processes based on its own Artificial Intelligence platform with more than 3 million previous experiences, of recovering and preparing the computers donated by its partners. These computers will be collected from the different collaborating entities to be transferred to the different laboratories of the company and thus be able to give them a second life in disadvantaged environments or with difficulties of inclusion.
Through this approach, the project not only reduces the digital divide in those environments where digitization is becoming more of a barrier than an opportunity, but also reduces the carbon footprint of the technology sector by promoting the reuse of equipment.
According to Alejandro Costa, CEO of Éxxita Be Circular, this agreement to be sustainability suppliers for Madrid Futuro is a "great support for the company' s circular and sustainable proposal, as well as for its innovation processes".
In this way, the Sevillian technology company takes another step forward in its commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals to which it is adhered, especially Goal 10 on the reduction of inequalities and Goal 11 on the search for sustainable cities and communities.
