Éxxita will create the first GreenTechnology and Circular Economy HUB in Spain
The sustainability of tech sector is a goal set in DNA of Éxxita Be Circular. For this reason, company has decided to take a step forward in its smart and sustainable proposal with first Green Technology & Circular Economy HUB in Spain..
The HUB will be located on an área of 10.000 m2 in Bollullos de la Mitación (Seville), and its objective is to offer the sustainable and circular response that tech sector needs. The center will focus its activity on recovery of electrical and electronic devices.
Since technology has become a cross-sectional element of our lives, and Internet of Thing is generating a large ecosystem of connected ítems, it´s necessary to give a new approach based on recovery and reuse to reduce WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
“We are very excited about this Project, which we consider strategic both for the company and for an increasingly technological society in which we need to definetly promote recovery and reuse, and achieve on this way more sustainable and circular models”, says Alejandro Costa, CEO of Éxxita Be Circular.
Éxxita Be Circular seeks to make this new HUB a benchmark in Spain, planning to reach one million devices recovered per year. In this sense, it should be noted that various Autonomous Communities with significant business dynamism, or top level industrial groups, have already shown interest in this pioneering infraestructure in the country. The HUB is scheduled to open in 2023.
